Family Pictures

Here are some pictures of us with the beautiful scenery, and the family! We stayed with both Robbie and Maressa, as well as with Ken, Kim and the boys, Kade and Kwynn. We loved spending time with our nephews and family!

Alaska Wildlife

We saw some amazing wildlife while in Alaksa. Here are some of our favorite pictures of humpback whales, orcas-Killer Whales, Dall's porpoise (looks like a mini orca), bald eagles, seals, and sea lions (on the buoy). All of these pictures were taken from the American Eagle.

Our Boat and Crew!

When we lived in Alaska, we worked on a whale-watching boat. It was a lot of fun! We worked on the American Eagle, and had a great crew that we worked with. Here are some pictures of us, our boat, and our crew.

Deep Sea Fishing!

These are pictures of us going deep sea fishing for halibut in the open ocean. What you have to do is let a large steel ball attached to the end of your fishing ling sink to the bottom of the ocean floor. This can be more than 300 feet deep! You then wait for a faint tugging, and you know you've got one! You then have to pull up the 300+ ft. of line with a struggling halibut on the end. Needless to say, this is HARD WORK!
