What the Jensen's have been up to!

This past year has been a quick one. Devon has been kept VERY busy these last months. He has been going to school full time at UVSC pursuing his BA Degree in Criminal Justice. He still has a bit of time left, but is finishing up his generals this summer. He will then proceed to apply to the Police Academy at UVSC for fall and spring semesters. He will be done in June of 2008, and will look for a job with a local police department while he finishes up his degree at UVSC. He is also still working as a security guard at the Provo Towne Center as a supervisor. It's good experience, but not his ideal job. :) So, with working full time, and going to school full time, he has been a very busy man! But, he is such a hard worker, and I appreciate him for it! I on the other hand, have been trying to keep busy as a teacher at Mt. Mahogany Elementary School. My class is sweet, but talkative this year, but I am excited for the last month of school. I think it will be both a wonderful, and hard thing to have this past class leave. I have felt that they are my real first class, and will miss them a ton! (At least after a few months of summer :) I love my job, but it can be hard, tiring, and a LOT of work both at the school, and at home. I recently was asked to be on the district Math Training Committee, and will be working hard with the district in training each 4th grade teacher in the district on the new math programs and policies. It will be a learning experience for me. I have also started working at Sylvan Learning Center just a block from my home, and will spend time there this coming summer. I work a few days after school, and I think that I'm getting used to it! Overall we're doing well. Busy as ever!
